Another one from FW, because I couldn't decide. Taken while shooting the introduction for the show.
I work part-time at a television company called NonStop Television. Three weeks ago, I worked at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Stockholm. Photographing and helping with filming and some other stuff. This is on the runway, just before everybody is let in. I really liked the light.
For the last two weeks I have been to Kenya! It was planed since forever since it was a school trip, but I was surprised when it was time to start packing anyway. We were about 15 students who went to take part in a
"Model United Nations" as a part of social science but we did a lot of other things too. The trip was amazing, we went on safari and visited Kibera which is one of the biggest slums in the world.
This photo is of Monica, she works with a project called Wayo Wayo in Kibera, which works to improve the life of the youth in Kibera. One of the most selfless people I have met.
I made a little improvised intervue and film about the project for my school, it's on
Vimeo.
Film i just got developed from Kiev.
I'm going away on a trip to Kenya today. I have never been to that part of the world before so I'm excited! It, a school trip and there will be some safari among other things.
Lots of things going on right now, mostly school stuff. This is from a little supermarket I walked in to a few weeks ago. It was mid day and almost empty in the store, so I took this.
A very good salesman, he almost got me to eat lamb brain.
Marrakech have many of those places. Tourists generally don't dare to eat at them, but they probably should.
I'm home. This is an old photo but the view isn't far from the truth. It's rainy and school starts tomorrow, but it's always nice to be home.
I will publish something from Morocco in the coming days.
On January 1st my family and I went to Morocco for some time off from the cold up north. So, the last five days I have spent in Marrakech, exploring the narrow streets and crowded markets. Amazing city and very helpful and social people. I can't say that I've been resting though. It's been pretty hectic, nothing is ever still here, there is always something or someone to watch.
To broaden our horizons a bit, we took a tour out in the desert and the Atlas Mountains. This photograph is taken some kilometers south of Marrakech, in the semi-desert, towards the peaks of the Atlas.
